NoteSwan — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Atlas Peak ("we", "us") handles information when you use NoteSwan ("the App"). We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the App.
1. Data Stored on Your Device
Your learning and practice data — such as progress, statistics, streaks, settings, and achievements — is stored locally on your device. Deleting the App deletes this data.
2. Data We Collect
- Usage & diagnostics: We use Google Firebase to collect anonymized analytics (such as feature usage and session length) and crash reports so we can fix bugs and improve the App.
- Advertising data: The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (such as the IDFA, only with your permission via App Tracking Transparency) to serve and measure ads.
- Game Center: If you enable Game Center, Apple processes your leaderboard and achievement data under Apple's privacy policy.
- Purchase information: Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details.
3. How We Use Data
We use collected data only to operate the App, diagnose crashes, understand which features are used, serve and measure advertising, and improve future updates. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (analytics & crash reporting)
- Google AdMob (advertising)
- Apple (App Store, payments, Game Center)
5. Your Advertising Choices
You can decline ad tracking when the App asks for permission, or change it any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining does not remove ads, but ads will be less personalized.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Analytics data is retained by Firebase per Google's standard retention periods. Your practice data lives on your device and is deleted when you delete the App. To request deletion of any data associated with you, email atlaspeak@atlaspeakapp.com.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
